A 2013 graduate of St. Mary’s University School of Law, Ms. Mays-Salami developed a strong foundation in law through both academic study and practical experience. While at St. Mary’s, she served as a student attorney at the Immigration and Human Rights Clinic, where she gained invaluable hands-on experience representing clients and advocating for their legal rights in the field of immigration law.

Ms. Mays-Salami worked as a law clerk for the Texas Attorney General’s Office, Consumer Protection Division, She also interned at the Bexar County Juvenile Probation Department, gaining insight into the juvenile justice system.

Throughout her legal career, Ms. Mays-Salami has worked in a broad range of legal areas, including family law, real estate law, and landlord/tenant law.
